I'm not claiming this is the finest show on the tour - I haven't had the chance to hear all the shows, but it is a very fine recording thanks to Jeff Travitz who recorded the show. has performed, and since they do not plan to tour after this I felt it worthwhile to try and document at least one of these fine performances. I think this tour has to rank among one of, if not the best, run that Dead & Co. This is from Philadelphia on June 15, 2023. This week is a first for the Deadpod as I've decided to bring you a fine audience recording of one of the recent Dead & Company Final Tour shows. Thank you my friends for your kind support of the Deadpod! You can listen to this week's Deadpod here: Kennedy Stadium Washington, DC - Thursday One Let The Good Times Roll Feel Like A Stranger Bertha Just A Little Light Queen Jane Approximately Stagger Lee Cassidy Tennessee Jed > The Music Never Stopped Jerry really shines on 'Tennesse Jed' and the band puts together a fine 'Music Never Stopped' to head into the break. Other highlights include a fine 'Stagger Lee' and a great 'Cassidy' - listen to the interplay here between Garcia and Lesh. Hard to believe its been 33 years since we lost him :( Brett shines as always on a great 'Just A Little Light' my favorite of his songs. A nice 'Good Times' opens things up, but the band really gets going on a strong 'Bertha'. My understanding is that it was raining hard most of this show but that did not stop the band, and Phil in particular, from smoking up the place with a great show.
